The WeART Syria Project kick-off meeting was held on 2–3 May 2024 at Demonti Hotel in Ankara. The meeting brought together representatives from:

• Uçan Süpürge: 6 participants
• Anadolu Gençlik Federasyonu: 6 participants
• Change Makers from Syria: 2 participants
• Tastakel: 2 participants
• Flying Aunties: 2 participants

During the two-day meeting, participants received comprehensive information about the project. The programme began with a general introduction, outlining the project’s objectives, goals, and key components in detail. This was followed by presentations on the main activities, providing clarity on how each component would be implemented.

Later in the meeting, the cooperation protocol was officially signed, formalizing the partnerships established under the project. Finally, an advisory board was created and its members appointed to support effective project management, implementation, and monitoring. The formation of this board marked an important step toward ensuring the project’s professional oversight and long-term success
