As part of the project, two separate roundtable meetings were organized to strengthen collaboration among stakeholders and better understand local needs.

Idlib – 16 August 2025

The first roundtable meeting was held on 16 August 2025 in Idlib, bringing together representatives from local CSOs, youth groups, and cultural actors. Participants discussed key needs in the region, ways to strengthen cultural activities, and strategies to ensure the active participation of marginalized groups. Recommendations were shared for empowering local communities, and concrete steps for improving coordination and collaboration mechanisms were explored.

Afrin – 11 August 2025

The second roundtable meeting took place on 11 August 2025 in Afrin. Representatives from various CSOs exchanged views on enhancing cultural solidarity, increasing young people’s access to arts and cultural activities, and promoting initiatives that support women’s empowerment. The meeting also provided valuable insights into social needs on the ground and strengthened communication among different stakeholder groups.

Both meetings played an important role in enhancing the project’s impact, incorporating local perspectives into planning processes, and supporting culture-based approaches to social transformation.
